CO PLACE
As an encore to the success of Quartyard, the tactical urbanism project that put RAD LAB on the map, CoPlace represents a scaled-up endeavor of community activation to serve the Logan Heights neighborhood near downtown San Diego. CoPlace is a multi-disciplinary organization whose goal is to enhance communities through place-based real estate development that celebrates pre-existing culture and ethos. RAD LAB designed and master-planned a mixed-use project with shipping containers that includes retail, office, an open-air beer garden, pop-up restaurants, event space, soccer fields, and residential micro-units. Construction is set to begin in 2020.
